DETI - Our History

DETI, formerly ABCT Enterprises, is an Atlanta, Georgia based traffic signal installation company. DETI was established in 1994 by founder and CEO TA Takeyeddin, an electrical engineer with import/export background in electrical, medical, mechanical, and automotive accessories.

Mr. Takeyeddin started the business focused on residential and commercial electrical installations, but shifted gears to include traffic signal installation and related services. It’s Mr. Takeyeddin’s tremendous breadth and depth of knowledge of the electrical field that allows DETI to be a leader in the traffic signal installation industry. DETI is certified by the US Small Business Administration (SBA), as well as a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE), certified with the State of Georgia and the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT).

DETI has seen the industry grow and change dramatically in the last 12 years. The company grew from electrical building installations, to the splicing and installation of fiber optic cable and more advanced technologies. Our professional staff knows how to achieve and excel in the technology of today’s world. Our collaborative team approach adds a positive value to all of our projects, which safeguards that no details are overlooked in project design.
